Who we are
This policy explains how Tekmor Intelligence Pty Ltd ("Tekmor", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through tekmor.com.au and in the course of our business. We aim to handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Contact details you give us, such as your name, company, email address, phone number and state.
- Information about your site and energy use that you choose to share, such as electricity bills, tariff details, meter or interval data, and details of solar, battery or inverter equipment.
- Basic technical information our website host records when you visit, such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the assessment, estimate or service you ask for.
- To prepare proposals and, if you become a customer, to deliver and support our services.
- To operate, secure and improve our website.
We do not sell personal information. We only send you marketing if you have agreed to it, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run our business, such as website hosting, form handling, email and cloud computing. They may process your information on our behalf. Where you ask us to, we may share relevant information with an installer, equipment supplier or financier involved in your project. We will tell you before we do this.
Where it is stored
Customer energy and site data used in our platform is stored and processed in Australia. Some of our general business tools, such as email and website form services, may store information outside Australia. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure the provider protects it.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as required by law.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by emailing info@tekmor.com.au. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
